In the last 10 years, dental implants have become the standard of care for the replacement of missing teeth. This method of treatment enjoys a high rate of success and can overcome many missing teeth problems. This method of replacing teeth is most like a patient’s natural teeth. Dr. Mace can evaluate your case to see if you are a candidate for dental implants. The implant is a titanium based cylinder that replaces the root structure which allows the dentist to place a crown (cap) on the implant. Implants can be used to increase the stability of partial or complete dentures as well.
Dr. Mace has a special interest in treating our younger patients. She has spent a lot of time with continuing education classes learning behavior techniques and the latest treatment for children. We spend time making our children feel comfortable and welcome. We offer iPods, bubble gum nitrous, as well as, a loving touch. We believe in making dental visits as much fun as possible, giving your child a positive experience. Dr. Mace recommends your child’s first visit be after the eruption of their first tooth. This usually occurs between 6 months to a year. We call these fun visits. Of course we have a highly stocked treasure box which is always a great motivator.
