Meet the team
Mace Family Dentistry has proudly served Newton, Iowa and the surrounding communities with compassionate, high quality dental care for families of all ages. Located just off the square, our practice is rooted in the belief that great dentistry starts with personal relationships, trust, and comfort.
Dr. Brandi Mace
Dr. Mace is a Iowa native and a class of 1994 graduate of Missouri Valley Community Schools. She graduated from University of Nebraska and did her dental training at Creighton University School of Dental Medicine.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, Jasper County Dental Society and Marshall County Dental Society.
Dr. Mace also volunteers her time at many non profit organizations on Fridays. She spends her free time with husband David and their seven children.
Providing your family with high quality dental care is her number one priority.
Stacy Hesse
Stacy is a native of Newton and a class of 1992 graduate of Newton Senior High School. She also holds an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from DMACC.
Stacy has been with us since graduation and is dedicated to giving patients the best quality of care possible.
Stacy is married to Mike and has two stepsons, Jace and Jeremiah, a son and daughter, Trey and Sara. She enjoys watching the kids’ activities and camping.
Shawnae Lambert
Shawnae was born and raised in Wabash, Indiana. She and her husband relocated to Pella for 16 years and now reside in Ankeny, Iowa to live closer to their three children Kirsten (29), Kloe (24), Kamden (22) along with their two grandchildren Blakely 4, Everly 2, and Avery 8. They love to spend their free weekends with family and watching the newest and greatest movies. Pickle-ball has become a recent love, but traveling is a true passion they enjoy together. Throughout her career she has a combined experience as a Business Owner, Regional Sales Associate, Administrative Assistant and Para-educator. Her well rounded background and experience provide her the ability to be adaptable and to allow her to take on various roles. Shawnae looks forward to the opportunity to meet and work with the patients of Mace Family Dentistry and assist them in all areas of their office needs.
Michaela Woods
Michaela is originally from Newton and graduated from Newton High School in 2011. She is a registered dental assistant with expanded functions qualifications. When Michaela isn’t at work, she can be found with her family and friends, watching sprint car races at Knoxville Raceway or taking her dog on walks around different state parks in the area.
